Kerboom

I present to you, the self destructing Pigeon

I think that when Mitsubishi designed these things it wasn’t so much as a post war re-industrialization project for Japan as it was a psychological weapon designed to harm Americans in the future. I was working on it for the last couple days swapping out engines since the one in it had a slight rod knock, and after getting it all back together it backfired on the first kick and sheared the flywheel key. Maybe they were never meant to be ridden, maybe they are more a stationary sculpture then a scooter. The other c-75 Pigeon I have is not getting its original drivetrain put in it after this crap, thinking of force feeding it a nice Honda CRF four stroke.

The Bear Game

Here is something from a ways back, Mr. Bear!

Its the comps from when a couple of my co-workers and me decided to try and make an Xbox 360 XNA game. They were doing the coding side, and I was tearing up the art. So I did some lvl comps, made some flash animations of Mr. Bear running and walking to be used as sprites in the game. But sadly thats as far as we got. I’m not calling the project dead, cause I would still like to get a little flash game out of it, or maybe use the stuff for a kids book or something. Anyways the bears hopeless look makes me smile for some reason, he’s one melancholy bear.

Tripping out on Teddy Bears

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0Xa4bHcJu8

So I know I haven’t posted a lot of stuff up here recently, I think it has to do when I had to get my apendix out back in the middle of last month. So heres the run down of what is on my to do list.

Circuit Bending- Have the switch box made, need to break some toys now

Nerf proximity gun- Have the parts, needs to be built

Aerial Video- Picked up a small camera, need to shove it in something

Got a new bike- Need to write something about that, cause its new and a bike.

And need to get up more pictures/photos

So that gives me a good pile of stuff to sort through. Check back often to see how much of it I completely ignore and end up not posting, its going to be fun 🙂

Fixing bent cpu pins. Bent pins!

This poor Amd Sempron was mashed into its socket like a potato in a fry slicer by a deranged customer. To fix this type of damage you can get a credit card/id card and a small flat head screwdriver. Use the card as a gauge to make sure you bent the pins back in place by running it back and forth across the rows of pins. Not sure why I’m explaining this here, but there ya go.

Oh and check out this crazy Pentium II heatsink. It looks like it belongs on the end of a club.

Angry Compaq is angry

I don’t know why I keep putting faces on things, maybe its a disorder. Oh well.

Since I don’t have anything else of value to put here, lets look at a sad Mac Book. It would not start, flat dead.

I fiddled with its battery and then decided to check the Ram. The first stick that popped out of the slot looked all funky with white stuff on it.

Turned out that someone had coated the end of it in thermal paste, I don’t know why but they did. Ram does not like thermal paste smeared over it like cheese on a cracker, contrary to popular beliefs.

After the nasty stick was removed the Mac was all happy and like “Watch me chime and boot cause I don’t have a bunch of crap shoved in my Ram slot”
